The ruling, party United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party has made changes to the party hierarchy as the party moves to consolidate its ambitious massive party membership recruitment drive.
The UDA party Secretary General, former Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala has made changes in UDA ahead of the ongoing massive recruitment exercise which targets to register 15 millions Kenyans as member of the party.
Under Malala, the UDA Secretariat today announced the appointment of four (4) professionals to its fold to help enhance the programs of the party.
Charles Chweya Matoke has been appointed the director in-charge of resource mobilization, political and diaspora affairs as Collins Babu takes over as the political advisor in the office of the UDA office of the Secretary General.
Malala, who has lately taken up the UDA recruitment drive in a strategic move aimed at securing political dominance, the President’s party Secretary General also appointed Samuel Mwangi Kang’eri as the Director in-charge of membership development as Grace Murugi Gicovi takes over the role of the Party Director in-charge of events and logistics.
The new team will join the existing directorate which is comprised of the Party Executive Director Nichodemus Bore and his deputy Higgins Brian Mbuguawho is also the party Diresctor of elections.
Kibet Kirui is the UDA party director of legal affairs and compliance with Joseph Kituki Mulili manning the finance and administration department, Rob Jillo as the director of Communications and Daniel Kiptoo as the director of programs and partnerships.
“The UDA Secretariat is pleased to announce the addition of professionals, Charles Chweya Matoke, Collins Babu, Samuel Mwangi Kang’eri and Grace Murugi Gicovi to its fold to help enhance the programs of the party,” Malala said in a statement.
