Kenya’s leading retailer Naivas supermarket has opened a new branch in Thindigua, Kiambu County bringing its total number of branches to 92 countrywide.
It will be the 9th retail outlet in Kiambu County after having opened other stores in the vast county in the recent past.
Speaking during the launch, Naivas Chief Commercial Officer Mr. Willy Kimani said that the new development was motivated by the need to offer convenience to their shoppers by offering them a world-class shopping experience at their doorstep. He added that Naivas had not been having presence in the area and that they were elated to welcome more communities into Team Naivas.
Our excitement is also compounded by the fact that this is when all the get-togethers, sherehez and homecomings are held and we now have three additional communities where we shall be a part of these life moments.
Added Mr. Kimani.
The new store sits on a 20,000 square feet of trading space at the Brick Mall with Naivas being the anchor tenant.
Naivas has been on an expansion drive since Proparco, a French sovereign wealth fund acquired a Sh3.8 billion stake in September last year.
