Kenyans will no longer have to worry again while buying properties after Association of Real Estate Stakeholders (RESA) announced plans to issue certificates to all genuine land selling companies in Kenya.
The move that one of it’s kind will see over 200 companies issued with certificates on Thursday 18th July 2024.
“Kenyans will never be conned again. We are telling Kenyans to only purchase land from companies that will be issuing with certificates. We are on a move of cleansing the entire real estate industry in Kenya,” said RESA chairman Kinyua Wairatu.
Wairatu said all companies that will be issued with certificates have been thoroughly probed and have been given green light.
” We have heard complains from Kenyans and this is the time to act now. Real Estate sector in Kenya is undergoing a serious paradigm shift,” he said.
Since the association came into place, Waiaratu has been leading a vicious campaign encouraging Kenyans to purchase from real recognized companies.
He has also managed to have the association launch a website https://Www.realtorssolutions.org which shares details of all land selling companies in kenya.
The association has a fully operational office.
“ I took over at a time when no one ever wanted to talk about real estate. Today, controversies have gone down and I want to continue with more reforms. No Kenyan will ever again lose his hard earned money to fraudsters,’ he said.
