Popular gospel disc jockey, DJ Rimshot Jackson has partnered with the Nairobi City County Government to conduct a search for talent among the youth in Nairobi.
The Rimshot talent search will be conducted in a bid to celebrate the creative space by identifying, nurturing and mentoring the best talent in the industry.
The competition will be held on Sunday, 2nd July, 2023 at Charter Hall in Nairobi and will include competitions in singing, dance competition, rapping, acrobatics, spoken word and graphic painting.
Winners of the music competition will be awarded with recording deals for free from the Rimshot entertainment stable while those in the dancing, acrobatic, panting, spoken word and DJ competitions will win themselves a one year business contract with Rishot entertainment Akili Media. The competition starts at 9:00 am until 6:00pm.
The winner in the singing category gets free recording deals of two videos and two audio releases while the second position will win one video and one audio recording deal. The third placed sinner will win a one audio recording deal.
