Sakaja celebrates Eid Ul Adha gifting goats to Muslims in Nairobi

Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja yesterday, yet again embraced the spirit of sharing by gifting goats to Muslims in all the 17 sub counties of Nairobi to be slaughtered in celebration of Eid Ul Adha.

marked Idd-ul-Adha with acts of love and friendship  where he presented goats to various Muslim communities in Nairobi. A kind gesture supporting the Eid~Ul~Adha celebrations.
The Governor wished all Muslims in the city a joyous and blessed holiday as they mark this important holiday in the Islamic calendar.
Sakaja conveyed warm Eid al-Adha wishes to Muslims in Ruai and Nairobi recognizing the spiritual significance of the occasion following the recently concluded Hajj pilgrimage.
Eid-Ul-Adha falls on the 10th of Dhu al-Hijja, the twelfth and final month of the Islamic calendar.
Muslims from different parts of Nairobi thanked the governor for his acts of compassion and charity noting that Sakaja had proven to be a leader who transcends tribes or religion vowing to rally their support behind his administration.
“Sakaja is a leader who loves and respects people from all religions and tribes and we are truly honored that he has gifted us goats to mark our Idd celebration. We shall also continue supporting a leader who knows no boundaries,” Juma Khamis , a resident of Dandora said.
This is not the first time Sakaja is offering his hand to join in religious festivities. He offered assorted foodstuffs to families during Christmas lady year and more during this year’s Idd Ul Fitr.
