Allegations of forgery haunt homeless Mbuthia ahead of NOCK elections

Allegations of forgery of critical documents have been levelled on the chairman of the Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) Beach Volleyball commission Moses Mbuthia, who is seeking election as Treasurer in the upcoming National Olympics Committee of Kenya (NOC-K) elections.Mbuthia, also the KVF deputy treasurer and who is said to be currently homeless after being evicted from his former YMCA Shauri Moto resident has been facing allegations of forging documents and helped several NOC-K aspirants to forge their documents to secure clearance from the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) ahead of the NOC-K polls.

Mbuthia faces serious claims that his Teachers Service Commission (TSC) number is forged and he has been using his downtown forgery networks to further forge documents for other candidates who would otherwise not pass the rigorous chapter six constitutional requirements for persons seeking to hold public office among them the wannabe nock officials.

The former renowned school games administrator rose to become the chairman of the KVF Nairobi branch and now heading the beach volleyball commission on forged documents.

Sadly, Mbuthia was recently evicted from his house and is reported to have resorted to sleeping his car which those in the know say that is normally parked within the compound of Nyayo Stadium from where he changes his clothes ready for a new day, a life akin to that lived by homeless Americans who have no shelter.

In recent days, members of his family reached out to the sports fraternity to help in seeking mental and psychological medication for Mbuthia at Mathare mental hospital suspecting that he could be suffering from a mental disorder.

Known for his relations with several companies which he has in the past brought on board as volleyball sponsors in the Nairobi volleyball Federation branch, among them Kenchick and Savlon, Mbuthia is currently in a partnership with Savlon in a deal that is shrouded in controversy further bringing the company into disrepute.

Controversies have been high within the circles of Kenya Volleyball Federation as Mbuthia got recently embroiled in a bitter war of words with some high ranking KVF officials. Allegedly, Mbuthia accused one top federation official with allegations of sexually harassing players of the National women’s team. The official in retaliation is said to counter accuse Mbuthia of getting involved in homosexual behavior allegations which many of those in the know have openly corroborated .
