Nairobi County MCAs have launched probe into the Universal Health Coverage Fund that is domicile at Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital.
In a statement Kilimani MCA Moses Ogeto demand Sakaja administration to explain how kitty came to exist,by which laws was it created,details of the projects implemented at Mutuini Hospital using th same funds among others.
“Hon Speaker,in the statement the Chairperson should inquire into and report on when was the Universal Health Coverage Fund created and for what purpose.Provide regulations guiding same funds. Details of the same Fund’s Bank Accounts.Provide bank statements for the funds since its inception and details of previous and current signatories.” The statement reads.
