Nairobi MCAs Task Sakaja’s Administration to Settle Staffs’ Disputes

By City Hall Reporter

Nairobi members of county assembly have called on Governor Johnson Sakaja to take charge of his administration and clean the misunderstandings among staffs disrupting delivery of services to residents of the City.

This comes after internal feuds erupted from the education, sports and social services department where an officer recruited as a deputy director community and Library services purported to snub her duties and only take functions and orders from her CEC.

This prompted the chief officers for education and sports and social services to declare her position vacant.

Speaking after a committee meeting at Assembly chambers, chairperson for education committee in Nairobi’s Assembly Perpetua Mponjiwa said they had called the county executive to understand and settle down the misunderstandings.

“We got concerned over interferences of positions where one Esther Wangari purported to act on behalf of her Director Ruth Awuor. We hope that such issues will not recur,” stated Mponjiwa who is also ODM nominated MCA.

Acting County Secretary Patrick Analo and other executive officers present during the meeting were asked to restore order at City Hall to enhance service delivery.
