Michezo Halisi outclass Slum scorers for third place in Sakaja Super Cup

Valery Achieng and Ivy Mukashi scored a brace each as Makadara based Michezo Halisi Kenya outclassed Slum Scorers from Mathare 4-2 in the third place play off match played today, Tuesday 19th December at the Police Sacco Stadium in South C.

Slum Scorers drew fast blood in the 10th minute when Veronica Nyambura struck from inside the box. Valery Achieng leveled for Michezo Halisi before Peris Asami put slum scorers ahead again.

Achieng engineered a come back for Michezo Halisi Kenya with her second in the tally before Ivy Mukashi added a third in the second half. Achieng scored from close range in the dying minuted of the match to seal the victory for Michezo Halisi Kenya.

With the bronze medal, Michezo Halisi Kenya took home a Ksh 250,000 prize money. The tournament sponsored by the Sakaja Foundation in partnership with the Nairobi City County government and Football Kenya Federation was started in September and played in all 85 wards in Nairobi with 0ver 300 teams.
