The Kenya Airlift Program CEO Bob Mwiti has called on the government to up its game providing the necessary support to the many students dreaming to study abroad. Speaking during the 6th Bi-Annual Luncheon in Nairobi, Bob said that it is shameful to see other governments like the Indian one providing support and pushing the dreams of its students while ours in Kenya go through hell in applying for visas, under the watch of the government.
“It makes me feel bad to see the Indian government financing and taking thousands of its students to study in the United States, while ours here struggle too much, and even being denied visas at the embassy. The only thing we are asking the government is for their unwavering support. We are not seeking for funds from them, we got the money, we just need their support to ensure the entire process moves on smoothly and quickly”. Bob said.
Bob further said that he has been trying all means possible to prepare for the the necessary student requirements, only for them to be denied visas when they have processed all other documents.
