The Nairobi City County acting County Secretary and Head of County Public Service Patrick Analo yesterday said that the steps being taken by the County Government will lead to a total transformation of the Country’s capital.

Speaking when he accompanied Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja in flagging off a fleet of 19 brand new county vehicles, Analo said that the county government is committed to effective delivery of services and mobility was a key component in any efforts to delver quality services.

“One of the key functions of the government is mobility and mobility enhances visibility. These 19 vehicles in addition to the fleet of the already existing vehicles we have is a big boost that will go a long way in ensuring that we cover each and every coner of our great county and we offer quality services to our people,” Analo said.

“The county government led by Governor Sakaja is committed to ensuring that we reach every part of the county and real development and service delivery is felt by every resident of this great county. So we thank the Governor for this great milestone,” Analo added.

Governor Sakaja on his part said that the 19 vehicles were just a part of the others planned to be purchased as the county moves to face out the dilapidated county vehicles that have over the years dotted city streets. Sakaja further directedcounty staff to ensure they use the vehicles to deliver services to the people of Nairobi effectively.

“These vehicles are not for your comfort or luxury. These are to deliver services. It is the people of Nairobi who need theis vehicles not county staff so I want to send you to deliver to our people quality services because that is what is required of us,” Sakaja said.
