Mandera County’s famous Mandera People’s Assembly (MPA) Secretary General and former MCA Aspirant Derkali Ward,Banisa constituency in the last election in Mandera county, has call it quits to the Orange Democratic Party (ODM) to join the new brand (DAP) Party from today.
The former Derkali Ward, MCA he has consulted before made the strong decision to join DAP party , currently the fastest growing party and future of Kenya the party has plans to mobilize more members to join the pool not only from Western regions but from across the country.
MPA is a caucus of young vibrant politicians drawn from Mandera County who ran on various political parties that aimed to face 2027 general as solid block movement and also agreed to put Mandera County government on check and balance.
Speaking to the Media in Nairobi after the (Democratic Action Party) anniversary at their headquarters in Nairobi,the MPA secretary general said,we will approach many parties before we make unanimously decision.
He said the dream and potentialities of thousands young leaders dies because of in accessibility and unavailability of mentorship and coaching from party leaders.
Hon.Dalato say as much we appreciate the efforts of Baba the Rt.Hon Raila Odinga to nurture young people and produced many prominent leaders in this country and founding father and further of democracy in Kenya , ODM is no longer a favourable party for youths who wish to grow politically unless otherwise stated.
The former Derkale ward MCA Aspirant said , MPA will likely to join DAP-K or other like minded young growing party in this country before 2027. There are various consultation ongoing amongst the MPA’s leadership.
Mandera People’s Assembly is a group of young leaders from Mandera county was formed after 2022 general election to champion for the right leadership across the country.
Hon. Daloto said the leadership of DAP has been seen and tested their mentorship program is well elaborated for youths and that is what the youth is looking for and if supported the party is the next stronger party more that where it is now.
“My submission to DAP is going to be fully and join their mentorship program before 2027 general election,a party without youths in the hirachy is a failed party”,he said for a youth or a young leaders to achieve his dream in ODM you must be well connected at the top,he adds
As a leader from Mandera county,” we have promised to work together with my political leadership of Mandera county, we will hit the ground running to sell the DAP agendas that helps people and mostly the youths.
Hon. Dalato said the leadership of (DAP) have got people with a good vision,plans and dreams to put Kenya in the right direction and good history.
” I want to urge Kenya youths from different walks to join our party Democratic Action Party and their issues and dreams will be achieved,” Dalato has urged
Hon. Daloto has said being with Democratic Action Party is a freedom and big step to the people of North Eastern region.
Party leader Hon.Eugene Wamalwa has promised to mobilize and sell (DAP) across the country for preparation of next general election in 2027.
