After the last-gasp drama at Signal Iduna Park in Matchday 9, this weekend promises to be just as important as the top four meet for a huge day of football.

League leaders 1. FC Union Berlin entertain fourth-placed Borussia Dortmund looking to preserve their place at the top, while FC Bayern München welcome SC Freiburg, knowing that a home win would see Julian Nagelsmann’s side leapfrog Freiburg into second place.

Bundesliga official broadcaster StarTimes Media is set to broadcast the action packed Bundesliga Super Sunday with all the matches lined up live on the platform’s World Football and Sports Premium Channels.

Union Berlin has made headlines, having cemented their position at the top of the Bundesliga for another week after a hard-fought win against VfB Stuttgart. Union Berlin are an extremely tough nut to crack, especially at Stadion An der Alten Forsterei, but we believe Dortmund have the confidence and attacking ability to return from the capital with a positive result.

Terzic’s side should have gained serious belief from last weekend’s comeback in Der Klassiker, and ultimately both teams may be content with a share of the spoils to consolidate their positions in the table.

The story of Union is truly unique, including how more than 2,300 fans helped to literally build the stadium back in 2009, working over 140,000 hours to support their club. It may not be the biggest, but the Stadion An der Alten Försterei is an intimidating place to go for any team, with 23,000 Union fans roaring their team on.

Bayern will be looking to bounce back from the disappointment of a last-minute Anthony Modeste goal during a classic Der Klassiker on Saturday night. Bayern Munich will be aiming to leapfrog Freiburg into second place in the Bundesliga by beating them at the Allianz Arena at the weekend.

The visitors, meanwhile, could move top of the table depending on how league leaders Union Berlin fare against Borussia Dortmund earlier on ‘Super Sunday’.

While Bayern’s potential injury issues give Freiburg an even greater chance of claiming a result, we expect the Bavarians to leapfrog their opponents in the table by claiming an important victory.Streich’s side have had a relatively kind fixture list so far and may find themselves outclassed by their opponents at times, especially after Nagelsmann’s side were able to take their foot off the gas away to Plzen on Wednesday evening.
